Fermín leads CRIES’s technology architecture and operational delivery. With a strong background in international relations and extensive experience in strategic communications and crisis management, he focuses on turning geopolitical challenges into scalable software solutions. As an AWS CTO Fellow, he drives data ecosystems, OSINT tools and AI-powered platforms (such as Veritas AI), designing infrastructure that keeps information access secure.
His experience advising multinational corporations and his leadership in global peace networks help ensure CRIES’s technology products meet the highest standards expected by donors and international institutions.
Celeste safeguards sustainability, transparency and rigorous stewardship of CRIES’s resources. She applies audit and control criteria and supports grant and international fund management with a compliance focus.
She organises management so the organisation’s financial and operational infrastructure remains scalable and auditable, in line with what corporate donors and foundations expect.
Sofía coordinates the programme lifecycle and coherence between research, data and deliverables. She strengthens data validation for dashboards and reports and brings methodological rigour to field research or project execution when programme design requires it.
She engages local actors across Latin America and the Caribbean to strengthen early warning systems and evidence quality.
Camila is the main facilitator of CRIES’s internal governance. She supports board coordination, institutional process compliance and day-to-day operations so technical and research teams can work with agility.
